Sierra Nevada Corporation Field Service Manager I in Denver, Colorado

As a Field Service Manager I, you'll oversee and coordinate improvements and enhancements to fielded system capability and act as a liaison between our engineering, program management, field service teams and our customers to ensure compliance with Federal regulations and internal processes/procedures and that all of our customer issues are satisfactorily resolved in a timely and efficient manner. You'll review performance data to identify process, procedure, system and/or operator errors and implement the appropriate improvements to ensure efficiency, compliance and safety.

Must-haves:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to travel worldwide, occasionally on short notice
Familiarity with safety standards and safe operating practices
Possess strong customer relationship and interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to employees, clients and military customers
Ability to understand and execute contract documents such as Performance Work Statement (PWS)
Use Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate level
Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
Hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications, and personal computers
Communication and customer interface skills
Thorough understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations
An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and current CI polygraph U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
Typically 2-4 years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
Proven leadership skills and abilities
Strong ability to communicate both written and orally
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
Experience with RF, vehicle installation, and maintenance procedures
Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics
Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors
Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $125,337.72. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
